Lower them most of the way then manually push them (or just one) back up. It takes some force but doesn’t require more than on person.

yup, be sure to put your disconnected lines in a container before pushing back up to avoid a fluid filled bilge.
Also don’t grasp the spike with bare hands, you will get splinters. Wear gloves or push higher up.

I would have another person at the pump holding the lines with a towel at the connections just to be safe. Dont ask me how I know
Well, I might be the odd man out here but if I don't have to move the spikes, I just take a small rope or a few wire ties and tie them in the up position. After that put a rag under the lines at the pump and ease them loose. Shouldn't be much more tha a teaspoon of fluid leak out. Different story if you have work to do that requires the spikes down but you can sure get a pump out this way. Works for me.
