I always have 2 in mine just in case....
BULLET 20 XRD/250 Merc Sport XS

Do not add the tilt steering because it will make the boat hard to turn. I have it and
Kyle08 has it and both boats are harder to turn the wheel than a standard set up.
Is that at any angle or only when at a hard tilt?
Want to buy old river2sea bully wa frogs.
Added tilt to mine when I got it, the original one was leaking, helps a little bit with the HDS 9 I have mounted on the dash, but mine is not hard to turn
The ‘S’ boats come std. w/tilt steering.
Meaning XRS, SST, SDC ??
Just because it has a tilt steering wheel doesn't mean you to have to use it... Or is it the helm that's causing the problem???... And this has to have caused problems with other boat brands also, and no reports???... Dan
Have a friend that has a Allison Bass Sport with the tilt and his is hard to turn also. It's harder than one without it in all positions.
I think, it's in the helm but it has not been hard enough to get mad and take it out. You can still drive the boat one handed,
but at the end of the day your hand/arm hurts. It's one of those situations where if you never had a boat with out the tilt
then you may/may not know there is a different.
I personally like the atlas hyd. jackplate.... You can raise it for speed and then lower it a little for turning... Also nice for shallow water etc. I often thought about putting the tilt wheel on mine.
I would add the upgraded livewell pumps.
+1000^^^^ I tried to do mine in my new one with no success
Several other folks have talked about upgrades to pumps. I also found out you have to add the custom foot tray and tool holder in deck if you want it. Price keeps going up,, I already sold my boat and have cash in the bank. This wait is absolutely killing me.
I got lucky and got to keep my old one till I picked up my new one
I would go hydraulic and lithium batteries.
I would have to sell a Kidney for lithium batteries.
I'd have to get a job, wait two jobs!!
