    Finally some rain

First rain we have had in months. Only got .40 but it will
go a long way for beans. Corn is toast and chopped today won't fill any pinds
back up but will green the pastures and my yard again.

We only got 2.25 inches for all of July. From the long term weather reports it doesn't look any wetter anytime soon

We have had almost 10” in areas in the past 7 days. Nice and wet. Been having temps in the 80s and it feels great.

Im seeing a lot more quail that pheasants. Most pheasants im seeing are Hens. Haven’t come across many chicks. There will be pockets of numbers but where I am, SW of Dodge City I’m seeing probably double the quail. And the quail are in areas where I’ve never seen them.
