    Red LED's under trailer

Got a white and black Bullet with red pins and wanting to put some lights under the trailer for looks. Anybody ever run red on their trailer? Have problems with the law by doing so? Another thought was to try some blacklights underneath it. Thought that might look ok. Anybody ever put blacklights under their, have any pictures of it?

red usually isn't a problem with the law, I run red behind the axle and amber in front to be legal but have friends running all colors, different states have their own rules.

    Cool Al, looks good.

Surprised no cops haven't said anything.
I know a few guys that have been ticketed for blue lights on bikes and cars.
Same with red, unless rear facing.

Red will get you in trouble out here. Blue also no “emergency vehicle” colors. I wanted to do red on mine also your guys looks sharp. I went with white. Still gets alot of looks just not as catchy i guess.

I don't drive with them on (under trailer red lights), just turn them at the ramp in the dark when unloading and loading.

What kind of lights does everyone use under the trailer? Just afraid the adhesive would not stick well on strip lights

Do you have a separate switch for the LEDs? If so is it mounted on the trailer?
    Thanks

Yes Sir I have a separate switch mounted on the trailer tongue, from Bluewater Led. The strip lights mounted under the trailer are the Bluewater Ultimate Submersible Trailer Package. I have never had a problem with them coming off as Bluewater’s adhesive is excellent. There are 10 Bluewater Extreme's installed in the interior with a Bluewater dimmer switch.

Same as RngrBill for me....red everywhere. I had the upfitter switches in my Super Duty and wired a plug at the hitch to it. That way, I could flip them on while driving to check on everything. I tweaked them a little since this with updated BlueWater Extreme lights and added lights back at the axle underneath.

Red and amber lights can be run on the trailer. Any other color you may run a power switch. I did a buddies Z21 with blue and he ran it for almost a year then gets pulled over by a rookie officer and gave him a ticket.
