U-Ship maybe. A buddy bought a boat off Ebay and use it and it was really cheap.

Wish I would have known. I just went round trip to the Chicago area and back to Philly. You could have covered my travel expenses and we would of had a win-win.

Most freight companies are $2-2.50 per mile if you find $1 per mile you better jump on it fast

I have a friend in the transport business that transports boats he gets 1.75 to 2.25 $ a mile all day long. At a dollar a mile it's like making minimum wage insurance is crazy high

Yes accurate we charge on average $2.50-$3 mile $1 rarely covers fuel alone at 4.5 mpg

LOZ------ after a tailgater ran into my outboard I left the boat down there to get repaired. The other guy's insurance company calls a few weeks later and tells me the boat is done, I can pick it up. I tell em deliver it. They call back and tell me the cheapest they found was $1.56 a mile------ both ways. I told em tough chit. A guy from the repair shop towed it over 450 miles.

The year was 2001 --- so if you find someone for a $1 a mile that would be extremely cheap.

Cost was why we took a 'mini-vacation' and trailered our boat
    from Fl. to Mn. ourselves.

You may also want to verify they actually have the correct insurance too.

I used Uship and paid $2200 from Virginia to Washington State and that was not the lowest bid. Per MapQuest, 2779 miles.

Enclosed trailers about double the rate.

U ship I use it a lot. Right now someone is pulling a boat from Ga to Al 500 miles for 528. I have 2 in Tx to Al 900 miles for 700 each. So far everything has been good.

I had a couple quotes from U-Ship from Lake Fork in Texas to San Diego and it was going to be $1249 to 1450. Distance is about 1200 miles

They are towing my boat on my boat trailer. Don't think I would want them to load them on a trailer. To much chance of something happening going on are off.
