U-Ship maybe. A buddy bought a boat off Ebay and use it and it was really cheap.
Your average will be about $1/mile
that's fair- I called one place they wanted $1700 to drag a boat from Illinois to NJ - I WAS LIKE wtf?
Wish I would have known. I just went round trip to the Chicago area and back to Philly. You could have covered my travel expenses and we would of had a win-win.
Most freight companies are $2-2.50 per mile if you find $1 per mile you better jump on it fast

LOZ------ after a tailgater ran into my outboard I left the boat down there to get repaired. The other guy's insurance company calls a few weeks later and tells me the boat is done, I can pick it up. I tell em deliver it. They call back and tell me the cheapest they found was $1.56 a mile------ both ways. I told em tough chit. A guy from the repair shop towed it over 450 miles.
The year was 2001 --- so if you find someone for a $1 a mile that would be extremely cheap.
Cost was why we took a 'mini-vacation' and trailered our boat
from Fl. to Mn. ourselves.
Do not take your half in the middle ....
I used Uship and paid $2200 from Virginia to Washington State and that was not the lowest bid. Per MapQuest, 2779 miles.
Enclosed trailers about double the rate.

I used uship. Mississippi to Illinois for $550 plus fees (cable out to $600ish). 650 miles.
U ship I use it a lot. Right now someone is pulling a boat from Ga to Al 500 miles for 528. I have 2 in Tx to Al 900 miles for 700 each. So far everything has been good.

The prices for the last 3 posts was that price towing your boat on your trailer or was your boat and trailer loaded on their trailer to haul it to you? Thanks.
I paid $1400 for 1665 miles from Missouri to San Diego, and I would recommend him in a heartbeart.
I had a couple quotes from U-Ship from Lake Fork in Texas to San Diego and it was going to be $1249 to 1450. Distance is about 1200 miles
