    The Open

Watched rerun of 1999 and Jean van Develd. Ouch! Take your medicine reminder for all.
One of the few golf tournaments enjoyable to watch where a demanding course can make the pros really think or not! I look forward to next weeks watching.
    108 heat index this weekend!

    In Tulsa. Hot, humid.
Fished today and wished I had watched Golf.
i am headed to Canada and will get one day of salmon fishing in and 70’s for highs.
no telling what weather they will get at the open.
Very enjoyable tournament to watch usually for me.

I was going to say if the heat index was that high over there then hell is actually freezing over.
The Open is an enjoyable tourney to watch like you mentioned. I'm still undecided who ill pick for my office pool.

It may not have been hot over there, but they are in a drought. I heard the other day that some guys are getting 100 yards of rollout after a tee shot. How do you prep for that? The ball will either stop in a trap or stop in the rough. It will be an interesting test of golf.

Well the American boys sure faded. Crazy bunker shots. 3 foot tall fescue. Pressure packed Sunday with wind and dry fairways.
    Fun to watch as usual.

Wish they could have held on, but it's a lot different on that side of the ropes!!

Yes it is. I always thought of Faldo hitting into 3 fully packed stadium stands surrounding the green over there. What pressure!
He failed at first and then succeeded. It was a great and fitting story.
