Anyone run an Fury 4 on a 211?

I've got a 2011 211 with a 250 Pro XS, 10" Rapid Jack plate, Boat came with a 25p Fury 3 that is banged up some. I've bought a 25p Tempest Plus, bone stock and a 25P Trophy Plus that I've had balanced but not blueprinted so it is nice and clean. The Fury 3 will only run 66 at 5600, Tempest will run 69+ but started walking and backed off. The Trophy is only running 65 at 5600. The holeshot on all props is decent at best. I've heard that the Fury 4's are great props. Has anyone ran a Fury 4 on a 211, if so can you tell me about it?

    Thanks

I have a 2013 211 DCX with Merc 250 Pro XS with a Bob's Hyd Jack Plate, Fury 3 that I have added a little cup, 2 power poles and at wot 6100 RPM at 75 MPH by myself and with partner 72. I have been told by my dealer that I would not like the Fury 4, but I have not tried. Hope this helps.

    Is your Bob’s a 10 or 12?

Coop, according to Don Weed I should prop my boat to 5850, so I can’t get to 6100. What pitch are you running and who did you have work it?

I run a 24 pitch fury 4 on my 2014 211r and it outperforms the 3 blade fury in every category but top speed. It's about 2 mph slower but holeshot midrange and handling is way better when fully loaded.

Legend made a slight hull change in 2014 on the pad. The 211R will run slight better than the 211, depending on set up, every boat built is different, therefore no two exact same boat's will perform the same. I have good hole shot, mid-range and top end by working on prop. Also your performance will be different in winter months vs summer months.
