I have a Z-7 with a newly pp added to it. I'm curious how everyone has them mounted to the jp bracket. Are they sqaured up to the 4 bolts or do you tilt pp towards big motor or tilt to the port side of boat?

Not square here, I want them vertical and lat to right, not leaning any way

Tilted mine towards the motor so when deployed the go out further.

The Power Pole should be visually straight vertically. They will naturally lean back when mounted to Power Pole brackets and some direct to transom mounts.
I get the phone call from time to time in regards to how the bracket must be bent because the pole leans back.. This backward lean is normal..
sometimes I get the call stating my Power Pole leans in and the motor hits it while turning... When this happens the customer usually didn't pick up on the oblonged holes in the adapter plate used for adjustment.
We mount them visually straight as Rich suggested. Some Pro at some point "Teepeed" them (lean in at top), and now others do because a pro "said so" they say it provides a slightly larger stance and better hold. I honestly do not think it makes a difference and my OCD hates how they look if not straight. Please, please make them visually straight, I hate driving behind a guy looking at a transom teepee lol..
Thank you guys
