    i prefer them. Simple to understand and maintain and they do a good job. I actually converted a Vault Hub to EZ-Lube.

    I've had them on two different boat trailers and prefer them too. Wish I had them on my current trailer.

    10 years on mine zero problems. Its a straight forward system that works well. Add grease once a year posibly twice depending on miles to push out old grease. Then every 2-3 years i pull everything apart clean and repack the bearings with lucas marine grease. Has always worked for me.

    Pro -
    Squirt grease in till new grease comes out, approx every 2-3 months.
    Disassemble and repack about every 2-4 years.
    Grease is replaced from back to front, this ensures new grease in the rear bearings,which is typically the bearing that fails in traditional systems.
    Con - more trailers do not have them.
