    Yes it was updated to the latest software.
    I'm thinking of trying revert back to the previous version for a bit after I receive my repaired unit back.
    You're like the second or third person to have a similar problem.
    I would like to think a software change couldn't damage the hardware, but you never know.

    Got my Helix 10 SI mega back from HB and she's all fixed up and working again.
    Thankfully it was still within warranty.
    All it said on the invoice was repaired circuit board.
    The reason I sent it in was because SI looked the same as OP's pictures.
