Ok after buying a Helix 7 G2 SI and being 100% disappointed in the SI & DI quality im going to upgrade to a Mega 9 or 10.
I saw someone on my other post that said the frequency's where higher on the mega units than the normal SI which is why the image is better or what ever.
So with that said is there a difference between the Mega 9 and 10 SI besides screen size ? If so is it worth spending $400 more on the 10 if I don't mind the screen size? Also is there a transducer upgrade I can get ?
Display resolution is considerably higher on the 10 (1024 x 600 versus 800 x 480). If you can afford it, the 10 is worth the difference.
There is no upgrade for the supplied transducer.

I think you made a good choice. With the frame size being the same, the 10 would be my vote. Having a big screen and lots of pixles make viewing just that much more enjoyable.

Youll be glad you went with the 10. I absolutely love mine. Theres no comparison between it and my 998s. Good luck!
