Where do you have your transom mounted down/side imaging transducer mounted? Assuming Most are attaching to jack plate with transducer shield. How deep is it mounted? What length drop do I need? Thanks.

Transducer shield mounted on the starboard side with a 2 inch drop spacer. When I originally got the boat it had no drop spacer on it and my left side imaging had a lot of interference high up in the water column.
