    Alpha 191 Review (Looking for)

Hey guys, I have the chance to buy a 2016 Alpha 191 and am looking for an honest review. It is one of 5 other boats I am considering. The boat looks slick, but I do not know anyone who owns a Legend- They are not very popular here on the east coast. If anyone has an info or input on this model please let me know. I have searched the boards and seen a blurb here or there, but nothing recently or in-depth. I am also a little turned off that it appears Legend is going to be a thing of the past?

    Thanks

Do you fish big water, those short 191's are very wet with that narrow legend front, othewise a very well built boat maybe the best in that size class. If you had limited garage space and just fish smaller bodies of water or fair weather it would be the #1 boat on my list.

I own a V20 not a 191 but on the upper bay, Potomac and James you should be fine in a 191

Wish I could say. Have a 191 hear with a 225 ProXs looking for setup advice. The boat is a out of the hole slug with very little bow lift. Is a 2011 turning a 26 fury. Running 5200 RPMs.

I'd go down to a 24 or 25 fury and adjust you p2p height.

    Is a 191 rated for a 225, thought it was 200 max?

It may be a 199. I find no info on boat itself. 199 it is.

I would think a 25 pitch would get your rpm's up and vastly improve hole shot. 5200 max says you have too much prop pitch.
