    Pirates of Lanier July 19th - 21st 2018

Be warned if fishing on Lanier July 19th-21st. Then again, if you want to see $800,000 + plus speed boats, they will have those too!

I’ll be at the island just up north of port royal for the early start. They run up to Gainsville marina. That long stretch lets them air it out. Then move south to mid lake and sunset cove by 2 or so.

I’ll be in my yellow Howard 26 tunnel, if you see us wave me down or come say hi.
text me I’ll check my phone every so often.

aslo will be out on Friday run to damn and back, to the cheese burger in paradise. At sunset.

I'm hoping to meet up on Sat just above Browns in Chastatee then maybe cruise around... BUT I'm thinking a 20' bass boat not such a good idea :) Had a nice invite and may go but wife will know tomorrow. She starts new work and has stuff to do.

Just a few pictures from the run. Was a great time! But I think a lot of fast boats didn’t come due to restriction on the run.

Yep, I was out there Friday and Sunday and noticed the same thing. They did have some nice some nice boats but not as many Skaters like in 2016. I love the way they sound when they fire them up!

This event has been on the decline since the Pirates of Lanier board ran off John Woodruff. He was a big part of the turnout of this event. He is also the owner of the Windship boat.
