    Livewell Switch Went Out

Fishing Saturday and the Manual Fill livewell switch wasn't working on my 2003 Champion 206. Switch to AUTO and it started filling the livewell.

So pump is working. May be issue with wiring still to be determined.

Took switch out of dash to replace. Switch is a "Carling Switch" has 5 blades on back. I think is "V" Series. Other numbers too worn to read.

Any idea what replacement switch would be? Can't find anything with 5 blades, found DPDT with 7 blades but not sure what wires do so wouldn't know how to hook up

On my 201, my fill switch is a three position on, off, on, and only has three blades, power goes to the middle blade, and powers either the up or down position. I don’t think the switch having extre blades will matter, but they cost a little more. It’s probably more important that they match the other switches, unless they have the waterproof boots on them, then it won’t really matter, how many wires are coming off your switch now? Orange is usually switched power or acc. And brown goes to the pump. These switches do fail over time, it helps to have a tester to verify operation. I just had one drive me crazy, it was sending power to my fill, on aerate, and when I switch to aerate I got nothing, bad switch!

There are 6 or 7 wires on the switch now. There is a brown wire, a orange wire, 2 wires going into one blade (brown and orange), a black wire (power), and one or two white wires going into a single blade.

Charles, I did a short Google search on my phone (which I hate doing) and didn't come up with a match. I would contact Carol at C&O and provide her with your pix. I bet she has one.

I emailed and called Carol yesterday to try and get the left carbon fiber dash panel, both of the livewell switches (Aerator and Hydro) and also a Water Pressure gauge. Will see what she finds

Good luck on the panel! I had Mark Miller at Select Marine Products do a shifter panel for my 210 and this pic below is on their Facebook page of some switch panels made out of poly. I don't think they have a web page any longer

Try NewWireMarine.com. They have lots of rocker switches, click on details to see the back of the switches.

Like usual, Carol hooked me up with 2 original switches, a new Hydro switch cover, a new dash panel and a water pressure gauge. C&O Marine and out Parts Mom always take care of us Champion owners. Thanks Carol and Craig
