    Mullet Lake next week

    Anybody know water temps currently? Will be up all next week for our annual trip. Big bug hatches lately?? Thx guys

    Water is warm and the lake has been an absolute zoo. Especially this past week. Surface temp is running in the upper 70s and yes there was a recent hatch of mayflies.

    Was up there all last week. Water temps were in the upper 70's until saturday morning when I had a surface temp of 71. I am sure they are creeping back up now. There was a hatch on Tuesday and Wednesday last week. I found some fish as shallow as 3ft and as deep as 30. Once the temp dropped I did not catch a fish on Saturday...

    Talked to a guide that was in the area this past week. He said it's been a struggle finding fish lately. It's been hit and miss with no consistency. A couple deep, a couple shallow, but no numbers. Just one here and there.

    How was the trip to the north country? I only made it on the lake one day for a cruise. Haven't fished much this month.

    Trip was great! Overall fishing was tough this year, caught em pretty good Saturday, Sunday, and monday mornings, then the wind and cold front on tuesday shut em down. Bigger fish were hard to come by the rest of the week. I did loose two bigger than average fish that i would of loved to get my hands on.
