Wife and I were fishing, set spike in water too deep, bottomed out to the ball at end of spike, it would not go up, touched ball sitting on unit...no spike attached! Not good... saw something sticking out the bottom of unit...Spike was still in the Micro, thank goodness!
The glue they use suxs, so I cleaned the head, sandpapered the surfaces, and epoxied it back on. Drilled hole in side of ball and installed set screw. It should not come off now.
