I’ve had the opportunity to use these baits for several months now. If you guys fish wood, you’re gonna love this bait compared to the chatterbait.

What makes it better in the wood? Smaller hook or bigger blade?

One thing I don't like...……. The blade looks like it cant lay down flat to open the hook bite up. Making the blade like a metal weed/fish guard.

I haven’t missed a single fish on this bait. Although I don’t on chatterbait a either. I don’t know the specifics on why it comes through wood better but it does. It also has incredible side to side hunting action and doesn’t roll or surface when burned fast.

How is this bait fished in timber? Do you toss it like a spinnerbait or crankbait and retrieve at a steady pace or do you flip it like a regular jig to individual trees?

Why do I picture weeds or tree limbs getting stuck between where the blade attaches to the head and jamming up ??

Because you fish in weed filled lakes?

Won't be a problem here, unless rocks get in there.

The 10 Feet Under Addy bladed jig solved getting hung up issues. Surprised it was not more popular. It's almost to get now and I think was discontinued.

Interesting...Zman gonna have a chit-fit. Course they've done pretty well on the bait.

How come some of the bladed jigs always show a pic of them upside down instead of how they actually run.

My brother in law loves those old ones too. He has bought a bunch over the years and has them stockpiled. He was hoping they were coming out with that same sort of version with the spring hook. He seems to have better hookups with them and they have a ton of side to side action. It will be interesting to see how these really perform once they are available.

Fish rarely came off those old ones because of that hook.... Hogg Farmer used to make one based off their swinger head that worked really well...
