New 12 Foot Talons on PIV - Holeshot disappeared.

I just installed two 12 foot talons on my 05 PIV. They are freaking sweet but I now cannot get out of the hole easily at all. Add a partner and a full well...forget about it. I’m currently running a 26P Trophy Plus. Talons are on JP brackets and mounted as high as possible. I removed two vent plugs and it sucked worse. JP is mounted flush and motor is mounted in top holes. Anyone with a similar setup that has found a remedy?

The weight of Talons and motors act like weights in your hands while sitting in a chair. The hold your bow up as if your arms stretched out held you back in that chair. It acts as rotataing weight.

Dropping a pitch will help, though it might require a different propeller.

You have found the reason BCB does not suggest Talons. Power poles are less rotating weight on the fulcrum.

need a lower pitch 4 blade like fury or bravo1--what motor? what is the rpms NOW on take off at rollover? needs to be 3500-4000 i would try a 24p 4 blade

A 24 Fury 4 or 3 would probably be the cats meow for that set up.

I had two 10 ft talons on a pumaftd. with a 250 probs. I had a 26 fury 3 before. Dropped to a 25 fury 3 and hole shot was fine.

what is the ptp measurement also? need others to tell you what is best and then set it there

My current prop is a 4. I would like to stick with a 4 in whatever I move to. Also, at the risk of sounding dumb, what is ptp measurement? Prop to pad maybe?

i went to a 4 blade bravo one with 8 vent holes to cure mine but is great now
