A60 actuator brake lock out tip.

I posted this in the general section in response to some having issues with backing a disconnected surge brake trailer w/A60 actuator. It will get more practical use here.

Insert the UFP lock out into the slot and place any small substantial magnet (off an old speaker or other) over it to hold in place. We all have a couple of these magnets stuck to a tool box or laying around.
Remove when done and stick magnet to tounge. No cost. No tape. No clamp. No BS. And it's unnoticeable so no one will steal it. The tounge lock pin and the lock out are both attached to a small SS cable on the actuator right where you need them.

The cap disengages as soon as you relieve any reverse pressure. Similar to the lock out tab falling out. For jocking a trailer in a garage or any back/forth movement it will not work to well.
Folks already steal the plastic cover caps.

I have the cap on mine and it snaps into place as you turn it. It doesn't disengage until I press down on the top lever and twist it back. Maybe I have an old design or something.

Must be an older cap or not functioning properly?
Guys I know that have them here all snap back as soon as you relieve any pressure on it. Pdf for operation says it snaps back.

$14.00 or use a free magnet and the clip that came with the actuator. Just have to choose.....
