1999 Bumble Bee 2100 super vee Johnson 225 ho won’t run past 64 unloaded me alone

I have a 1999 BB super vee 21ft with a Johnson 225 ho. Prop to pad is 3.5 below and it has a original raker 24 on it. By myself unloaded it gets 64 at 5600-5700 rpm and 25-30 psi pressure. Light load and one other person 57-58 mph. It should be getting more then that! I need help! Anyone?

Messed up the prop today. So I’m on the search for a new prop. Gotta get one ASAP!

I had a 200 Pro Vee with a 225 Merc and it ran the best with a 4 blade prop that had cup added for increased stern lift. I think I was running a 26P Trophy. The increased stern lift let’s you trim up more to get the bow higher. These hulls run the fastest with the bow high.

64 is the right speed at 5600 rpm's with a 24" prop but that motor will turn 6000 so you might want to try raising it up 1/4" at a time until you pick up 100-200 rpm's and a little more speed.
