are there any good boat shop around louisville - Elizabethtown area?

just moved to the area 2 months ago, is there any good boat shop/mechanic around this area that you guys can recommend? My motor is a Mercury.

Thanks guys! What happened to M&C outboard? The previous owner of my boat bought my boat from them brand new back in 2004, still have the M&C outboard stickers and number on my trailer that i never took off.

M+C Marine went out of business last fall. Craig was an excellent wrench. He was one of the very few Master Certified techs in the state of KY. Last fall when I called to get my service work done he was in the process of moving into a new home in Indiana near Patoka Lake. He told me he was no longer going to own a business that he was just going to work seasonal and or part time for someone else. He told me a place in Indiana but I can't recall the name. I read here on BBC in a post a few months ago that he is now running a mobile marine service. I have no idea if that is true or what he does or where he does it...his reputation turning a wrench was 2nd to nobody in the Shepherdsville/Louisville area. Anglers OutPost closed their Shelbyville dealership and moved into the M+C building at Shepherdsville sometime this spring.

Yeah, ordered my boat from John Newton at Renegade, good ole country boy and he beat out the 20+ Ranger dealers I contacted about my 2018 Z520L!

I just would rather get my services done closer to home...

I have only ever dealt with Professional Marine and they have done me good.

They took better care of me than anyone l've dealt with on Mercury. SMI put seals in mine and brother's boat and they were both in backwards, mine efi and his opti.

There is also J&R Outboard on the corner of Blue Lick and South Park rd. No idea if the mechanic is any good but they have been there as long as I remember. Ive bought a few parts from them before and they were always easy to deal with.
