    2016 zx225 jackplate

    the jackplate that came with my zx225 has one center bolt that is vertical like the engine. Does anyone know what this is for and how tight It should be?

    If I’m not mistaken that is to change the height of your motor. If we are talking about the same one

    that raises/lowers the plate once the side plate bolts are loosened

    thanks, I was tightening the transom bolts and saw that it was spinning freely, im assuming that should be tightened down as well

    The set bolts on the side of the jackplate are what hold the plate up. However like mentioned before just snug it up.
