    X5 steering cable question

Is there a way to tighten the tension on the steering cables for a X5? In rough water the pedal is so easy to move that it is hard to control. Very easy to over steer.

Tension screw under the cables where they exit the footpedal -- just like the MinnKota. Only tighten to the point where there is no slop in the footpedal. overtighening can cause bearing failure. If it's still too loose for you, look into the troll tamer products.
