Holy crap does this weather suck!

Like an idiot I decided to go fishing, thinking it might cool off later in the day. Yuk! Never felt so gross and uncomfortable in the heat.

Don’t you work in a hot kitchen ? LoL

Fished last Saturday and Sunday all day ... if you don’t have them yet buy some cool gear long sleeve .. amazing stuff .. without it I wouldn’t have made it till noon Saturday never mind two days

I went out Saturday night to beat the heat, got on the water at 5 pm and stayed out until 1:30 am. It was gorgeous out after the sun went down. Bugs got a bit out of hand but a breeze picked up at about 10:00 and stuck around until I left. Got to about 80 and the humidity dropped a bit too so it was gorgeous out. Caught a good amount of the sprinker frog, Whopper plopper, and a squarebill.

Fished the Merrimack Sunday and it was packed with pleasure boaters and it was steamy.

I wear one every time out...The only down side is they are cold as shit in the mornings I was freezing at the last tourney until we left the ramp and got out in the sun...No way I could have fished both days last weekend without them

Yup, this heat is really tough. Wish it was -10 with 2 ft of snow.

They're also running their 15% off store wide sale until tomorrow.

Thanks guys, what shirt would you get through
    Tackle warehouse ?
I don't know anything about them. I'll probably order one tonight to try it out.
I may order a hat also from link Jim posted.

The generic one from tackle warehouse has worked fine .. make sure you get the ones from the long sleeve protection section and it’s cooling .. of course the more you spend the better they should be.. I have been super happy with my under armor shirts .. Tara grabs them from Cabelas when they are on sale in the fall

I think from the thread in the lounge a lot of guys raves about the Afco ones ? Huk is supposed to be good ??

The generic tacklewarehouse ones and the Under armors work for me! She bought me short sleeve “dickies” and carharts for work ... not sure how I made it through summers in cotton

Be warned you will be cold as shit in the Am in these things when not in the sun lol

You might hate them the first day or two .. maybe not hate them but you won’t feel right .. but they will feel awesome after you get used to them

Very accurate, at least for the short sleeved ones when I first started wearing them.
