200 Johnson venom will not run

I have a 1996 200 Johnson venom have replaced timerbase, stator, powerpack, new fuel pump, rebuilt carbs and changed reed valve. Compression is 100-105 on all cylinders. My problem is motor will run good and all of a sudden it will run bad missing no power. My mechanic has found that it is something to do with number 6 but is at a loss if you can help thanks

Move the coil and plug wire from #4 to #6 and see if the problem stays with the cylinder or follows the coil. If you aren't running Champion QL78YC's gaped at .030" change what ever is in there to those.

From the service manual, use of any non suppression plugs will cause ignition problems. the NGK's are a resistor not a noise suppression plug.

Pull the hose off the pulse limiter at the VRO pump and at the fitting it self, see if fuel runs out of the hose. Also with the pulse hose off the pump, start the motor and see if #6 now starts to fire.

Would/could be an indication of a leaking fuel pump diaphragm. and fuel is being sucked into #6 cylinder and flooding it out.

So my 98 200 Johnson is fairly similar to what keith78 was experiencing.
I have rebuilt my #6 carb, it was very clean inside. Cleaned all passage ways. Still no fuel to #6.
I tried squirting a mix of fuel into carb 6 while at idle and no change to the engine.
I even swapped #5 carb with #6 to eliminate it being a carb problem.
When it is idling and I put a dollar bill over the carb I do get the twap twap sound.
It is like fuel is not being sucked thru the manifold to the chamber.
Keith78, How did you finally figure out it was the lower crankshaft seal?
    Was it hard to change?
