so i took the plate off and the cable ends are the same as in this pic.
would i be able to use the cable i have now with the new flow right control.

Does it have the round control that you rotate or the rectangle control with the levers you slide back and fourth? I can't remember.
yupp rectangle......the ones i have now are the slide right to left.
there's a huge hole under that plate, might have to add a blank plate
for the controls to screw into.
Some have only two positions - Empty = Fill
Others have a middle position - Empty = Recirculate = Fill
Depends on what type or valve it has.
Here is one type:
My 1995 481vs has only the Fill and Empty on the rectangular plate. Someone changed it to Flow-Rite V3 at some point so I just printed out the correct labels with a label maker. Works great!

361V originally came with 2 position plate/controls. Empty and Fill. Fill is the same as Auto. That is how my 94 361V worked.
