I am in the process of making this aluminum deck extension with dry storage and ice chest. I can't decide how I will secure it to the boat, I don't want to drill any holes in the glass and mount it to the lockers. Any idea's? Thanks Darrel

If there are horizontal spots (flange of the extension rests on fiberglass edge of deck?), maybe just use 3M double-sided auto molding tape. Stack as many pieces as needed to fill the gap.
Guessing you wont need much... a couple short 1" chunks in 4 places? Between the weight of the extension and contents, and the 3m tape, it wont go anywhere.
That is some beautiful work, BTW!
Casting Call has a great idea, and in addition to the 3m vhb tape, you could wedge some left over carpet scraps in between the new console and the fiberglass. That will keep everything tight and not scratch anything but allow for convenient removal if you ever want to take it out. That is great work by the way!

I think I am going to run it without mounting it down to see how it works. I am going to spray insulation on the front ice chest compartment under side and where ever else it is loose to make a tight fit so it don't move around. I will put the carpet on it this week and mount the lids. Thanks for the kind words
Great work.
Here are some finished pics, I insulated the ice chest with spray foam. I fished out of it on Saturday it was great, I can't believe I did not do this years ago.
That turned out absolutely amazing! Nice clean job!
You could put screws into the floor just to keep it in place carpet would hide any holes left if you decide to remove it
Looks really good
It is what it is
Wow, Impressive work. Much more functional than the factory deck extension.
Nice work!
Amazing work.
Did you Tig or Mig weld this?
Good work ,drop you a TM tray up front and that will be a fishing machine.
The extension on my old 361 was just screwed down to the deck using L brackets, however it was just one big open area underneath. Fantastic work you did there!
That is impressive. Great job.
