Wow...someone dug up a 7 year old thread.
Bone stock it would be an ASX which came with a 250 HP rating. The were only made one year (2003) and had a limited production run. Originally they were only going to build 100 but the demand was low due to cost and how hard they were to drive once they were up on the last step of the pad. I think 70 or so were actually built. If my memory is correct they were mid to upper 80 with a bone stock 250 and low 80 with a 225.
As for "mass production" bone stock the early years of the 201 Evolution were hot. For some reason they were just a tad bit faster than other years of 201 hulls. If my memory is correct there was a regular on here by the name Grant Collins who had one. I have not seen him post for several years. Anyways he spent a lot of time working on setup and playing with props. He was able to get 80 out of his 201 Evolution. I don't recall if it was a 225 HO or a 250 HO but I do recall it being an Evinrude.
The fastest Stratos I recall was nicknamed Evozilla. Someone in Tennessee owned and modified it. If my memory is correct it was someone who worked at C and O Marine or someone who had close ties to that dealership. Anyways they had a 294 Evolution with a Yamaha SHO that had Hydro Tech work done to it. I don't recall which phase kit but I want to think it had a Hydro Tech phase III kit that push the HP up to around 300 or low 300. I can't recall but I also think they had the pad blueprinted. With a light load they were seeing low 90's.

Definately not stock. I ran 76.8mph stock before I did the tune but didnt really play with it to get higher speeds.
Yes the lower is stock
