The 201 XLE has been out since 2009, is there any feed back on the good and bad of this boat.
Sure would be interested in hearing some owner comments.

Can't fit larger screens in the dash or bow panels (>7"). Wiring harness is generic, not specific to motor brand. Can cause minor stray voltages. All else...outstanding, but I'm biased.

I have an '09 so don't know what if any changes have been made.
Lots of good.... speed, ride, great fishing platform, tremendous storage, shallow draft.
not much bad about the boat.
my gripes are: (mostly minor things)
1. console only accepts small standard size graphs, no big screens.
2. console at very poor angle, sun glare on graph is bad and often.
3. wish the rod holder (handle end) was carpeted from factory, plays hell on split grip rods.
4. water got in big center box at first, figured it out, via middle rod tube. took it out no problems since
5. cup holders are worthless and in the way, took them off.
6. latch for center/step up glove box is poor design, stays latched, but hangs in dip net all the time.

I roll of generic auto carpet at wal mart and a can of 3M spray adhesive and you are fixed less than $20!
or
Sticky roll of velcro and just use the soft side on the botton where the rods ride. $10 or less.
I agree, it is bad in the rods.

Already done, just wish it came from factory like that. Just add $10-$20 to my final boat price so I would not have to do it.
My dad got one new in '10. I'll probably have an EVO for my next one. I wouldn't worry about the bigger graph in the dash. I think it works much better with a big unit on a RAM mount, both front and back. You can adjust for glare.
I also have an 09 and all of the issues listed are pretty much it. Its a big boat that handles nicely and has alot of speed. Can't go wrong with this choice..
