    Learning the St Clair river

I had never done well in AB. Last year I set a goal to learn it and I found some things that produced again this year.

One of my fishing goals this year is to develop some confidence in the St. Clair river. I’ve never fished it short of the channel mouths. There is a lot of water there and potentially a lot of wasted time and fuel. What would you guys recommend as a way to get started? Launch at Marine city and explore fawn island area? Launch in algonac and go North? Or south? Pick a channel and work it?

    Feel free to PM.

PS - new boat pics coming soon. The eagle (err Caracal) has landed!

I like to launch in the City of St Clair and fish North....It would be a long run for tournaments though...
