2011 115 pro XS power loss

    Mod-1115P73HY
    serial #-1B828170

was running boat yesterday and noticed different pitch in the sound of the motor. I heard it go from normal sound to the different pitch sound.

Motor does not have a miss, and I can reach normal wot rpm’s. Top speed has dropped from 52 to 42 and hole shot is much worse.

    Any ideas where to start.

    Thanks DD

With your description I'd be checking prop hub first.

I pulled the prop and nothing looks out of order. Thanks for the suggestion.

UPDATE...........was able to finally get another prop on her, and all is well. Not sure what happened to the original prop, no signs of damage, and the hub looks normal. I will get a new hub and try the original prop again.

Thanks again to those who helped.
