Anybody use this for wacky rigs?

    http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/G7_Wo...age-G7WTP.html

The G7 worm tube Pliers. Shin made a video using it and it seems pretty quick and easy to do and better than an o ring. Almost like using heat shrink but not messing with a light. Thinking about picking one up.

At $23.00, that device looks like a solution in search of a problem.

If you use heat shrink tubing, do you put that on at home, or in the boat, as you need a new soft stick bait? I am guessing that I don't have the patience for either. I have the O-rings and don't use them, either. Part of the problem is that while the 5" works fine for LM, I get very few SM on 5", and way more on 4".

I like that idea!! Not a fan of the shrink wrap. Fish a lot of rainy wet days and hate wasting time with it

Shrink wrap not even shrunk will add a lot of catches to a senko, just put the hook into the worm some also. There are different sized shrink wraps out there I slide it off one worm and onto the next.

3/8 heat shrink for Senkos, 1/4 for Trick Worms and other finesse worms. Agree that it's definitely possible to use it without heating it up. I generally will just do up a bunch of them when I run low. A pack of 10 with the heat shrink already applied will last for days of fishing unless you're on an out-of-this-world type bite.

I've heard of people using vinyl fuel line for it, though finding a big enough ID might be a trick. I'm sure there's somewhere online that has it.

Not to high jack the thread, but where can you buy clear shrink tubing? I can get black just about anywhere.

I use black and convince myself it acts as a "kill spot", same as adding a black dot to my white jigging spoons.
