Installing a Motor Mate 250 SHO

    Fellas
Trying to install a motor mate on my 2017 SHO. I got the bolt loose on the starboard side and installed the bracket. I could not get the bolt out on the port side. It turns, but will not come out. I tightened the starboard side down hoping that would help, but it just loosened off when trying to get the port side out. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I just installed one the other day on a 2013 SHO and I put a wrench on one side and used a socket on the other. both sides came off without issue once the wrench wedged against the jack plate.

I just got a MotoStop. Didn't need to take anything loose. Sent the Motor Mate back.

Yep, had the same issue. Put a wrench or socket on the nut and hit it with a hammer and it will loosen up

Quick hit on the end of the wrench that's on the bolt or a air ratchet will work. I have been down this same path before.

Same problem 2 weeks ago on my 200. Battery impact took it right off.
