    I (hopefully) found out that if my XTE limit was too narrow the GPS would occasionally go outside the limit. Once it did this the Xi5 would go full gas looking to correct the course.

    Hopefully final update/report.
    Motor has functioned perfectly since I widened the XTE limit.
    Used it 3 solid days a few weeks ago in Vilas county without any issues.
    Sure is nice not being married to the foot pedal of my old cable steer unit!
