Lakes with weeds
Fairly new to East Tn. Cherokee and Douglas have been a little difficult for me. I'm trying to find a fairly local lake that has weeds in it to fish. Any suggestions?

Don't know where you are exactly, but Watts Bar, Chickamauga, Nickajack and Guntersville all have weeds (vegetation).

The closest place to fish grass for you would be the Holston River above Rogersville. It's called Beach Creek by the locals because you have to launch in the creek and run out to the river. It's the area above the dam at the John Sevier steam plant and its loaded with grass. Be careful not to get to close to the dam or you could go over the waterfall. That would make for a bad day.
