    Sunday Supper

Fresh outta the garden fried okra and black iron sauteed squash, zucchini, mushrooms and onions. Onions and mushrooms were store bought. Topped off with sweet corn on cob and a tender New York Strip.. Nice ending to a hot ass day!!!!!!

Fresh fried fish, fries, hushpuppies and ranch beans. It has been like a sauna outside all day and it is still not any better.

Got a 1/2" shower late yesterday and it cooled things off 25 degrees. Another building this afternoon but think it is gonna miss us.

Sonic. It was a long weekend and I had no desire to rattle any pots or pans today.

I actually went to Taco Bell/ KFC first and they had a temporarily closed sign on the door. I agree, Sonic sucks.

Very good! Glenn Frey's son (Deacon) and Vince Gill have joined the the Eagles. They sound as great as ever!! I had never really heard of Chris Stapleton, but his opening act was good as well. Jerry World was packed. When Don Henley came on stage and asked if we felt like rockin for about 3hrs, then delivered. Think we got out of there about 11:30

No kidding. Vince Gill was in the band? Stapleton is amazing and touring with The Eagles makes perfect sense, being that his music is rock/blues and not country (WB ).

Yeah, I was surprised when I heard, but apparently he's been with the band a little over a year. Lot of guitar pickers standing up there now ...
