I didn't use that style fastener in my garage but I'm guessing they show a weight rating like any other mfg. If the TV doesn't exceed it you should be good to go as long as the fastener is designed for concrete blocks.Originally Posted by Imavol

IMO tap-cons would be fine
I have installed THOUSANDS of them with tapcons. Just be sure you don't over tighten them or you will strip them out and have to drill new holes. I use the 1/4 " ones.
Does it matter if it is a swing mount?

No as long as the Tapcons are the right length. If possible I like to drill into the spine of the blocks. Sometimes you can't if it has to be centered at a certian location.
my 60" is on a swing mount and is mounted with tap cons and is fine. i mounted to brick though..
