Pro's Livewells?????

Watching Bass Live and seeing Randall Tharp mess with fish in the lw's....the under side of his wells look like fiberglass and reason i say that is he has the cull tag hanger attached to it.....does anyone know if it is fiberglass?? If not what is it?? i'd love to put a hanger on mine but it just the foam padding.

I dont think they have the foam. But you could always cut a little piece out and hang the keeper

The underside of the lid is aluminum, I just cut the foam out and applied JB Weld to it and the hanger, no problems after a year.

You mean the underside of the lid? I never checked the underside of inside of wells.
Seems a hanger inside on the underside would damage fish easier than on the lid when they act up in there.

Yes under the lid......not the physical walls of the live well....

Pretty sure on the pro boats they don't put the foam so when pictures are taken and the livewell is open you can see the phoenix logo.

It's just starboard under there so that when they open them you can see the Phoenix logo.

I had issues using the 3m adhesive tape on the T-h conservation cull hanger because of the livewell lid foam. It would come off in rough water. I took the tape off, and used two strips of gorilla double sided tape, one on the lid, one on the back side of the hanger. It hasn't fallen off, and I've had it in my very rough water.

cut you a 1"x6" peice of 1/2" to 3/4" starboard taks a razor and cut out the 1x6 in the foam and epoxy the starboard in, then screw the hanger to the starboard, you can also dig thru the carpet pilings and run a couple of #6 screws in from the top, or take #6 machine screws and lock nuts and mount the hanger on the foam and just tighten until the foam starts to squish

yep mine is a pain, the hooks stick in the foam, I just got me 6 stainless steel keyrings to run through each hole, then it will also hold the conservation style

That's a great idea! Going to have to do that, mine are always sticking to the foam when I hang them back up.

You can use zip ties as well, I have two that I attached my cull clips to.
