    Which ramp for Lake O?

Given the poor water quality SWFL and the huge fish kills I'm thinking of traveling a few hour drive to fish Lake O. I've never fished there before and was wondering what would be the best ramp to use if I coming from the west coast of Fla? I'm most interested in the ramp that would put me in the easiest and safest water to navigate and catch fish for the first timer. Not necessarily the closet ramp. Thanks.

Camp Mack would be a good choice. Tons of good fishing just outside of the canal

The only Camp Mack I found is Lake Kissimmee. Is there another?

Camp Mack is on Lake Kissimmee.
Okeechobee your choices, Scott Driver or Okeetantie on north end both large safe ramps.
Harney Pond on south end large. safe and ample parking. Get their addresses and mapquest to see which will be more convenient for your travel.
