Yes
The AS GPS HS is not a network antenna like the Lowrance Point1. It connects to one of the unit ports with a AS GPS NMEA cable.

Another thing, unlike the Helix, you can share the Heading Sensor separate from the GPS.

Yes, it shows out of stock at Humminbird. Check with some dealers.

Before you ask, nothing hooks to the other wires unless you have some added devices that need that connection.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread .... I have just now switched to Birds from Lowrance. Running Solix 15 Gen 1 at console and bow with Heading/Gps sensor at stern with it connected to console unit with adapter cable to nmea 0183. How do I share heading sensor with bow unit? I have ethernet cable between units and networked them together. When I selected network units it listed both units one with a red! and one with a green! Not sure if that means anything. When I go to bow unit GPS to select heading sensor it does not show heading sensor like it does on console unit. I did notice that even they do have different software. Any information would be greatly appreciated as it is a learning curve.
Thanks

First things first you should update both to the latest version 3.890
NOTE; If you use several Bluetooth items the new update may not be for you

But the new update does have several update to the eithernet
"The handicapped angler"
The console unit was updated by Hummingbird when sent in for repair. Ok with bluetooth issue on update. That will not be a concern. More concerned with getting heading line for accurate cast from bow..lol. Will update bow unit tonight and check.

Just finished setting up a couple of units on my desk.
You don't have to do anything to share heading, Auto Configure takes care of that. If you want the Heading Line displayed, just turn it on.
