Hi guys I just recently sold my boat and I’m in the market for a new to me boat. I’ve rode in allot of boats before tritons stratos and rangers but never a bullet. I’ve found a pretty decent deal on a 2007 20xd with a 250 sho. My questions are how do bullets compare to other boats as far as fishing in the wind, ride, storage ect?
I've never been in a 20 but the 21 boats ride as good as anything else, the wind does blow them around more though. Storage wise, I've got more junk in mine than I could ever use.
Believe it or not, I've never been in anything that rides as good as a Bullet, especially a 21'10", I've owned Triton,Pro Craft,Astro, rode and fished out of Rangers, nothing compares to a Bullet, a 20 fter will be faster, a 21 will ride better
I’ve got a 21 dual console which is actually 2” shy of 22’. I never rode in a bullet before I bought it... no regrets on that purchase. Ride is wayyy better than expected... fishes not bad at all either. Obviously when the wind is blowing 20mph it’s a bit of a fight as is any boat. You won’t regret a 21 model.

Sometimes it's good to look at both before you make a decision, not trying to sway someone, just giving options, I thought about a 20 fter this time, but I didn't want to give up the ride and the room, but it would have been nice to run trips almost any time I wanted to!!
My best friend and my fishing partner has a 21xd his son has a 20xd. He says he doesn't notice much difference in fishing. He does say a little more floor space in the 21. Average day fishing he doesn't feel much different just if it gets rougher the 21 rides a little better.

If wind ride and storage is a concern I would look at 21’10” But if I wasn’t fishing Lake Erie and st Clair i would own 20’ as it’s a lot faster and the ride is good and dry as well. Good luck and I am sure u would be more than pleased with that 20

With you being in Celina it shouldn't be hard finding a 20 to check out and ride in. Storage they have more than most. Ride- they ride great and the 21s are like a Cadillac. With that setup you are looking at should be a mid to high 80s boat. They lower unit is what would keep it from doing better.
I have a 20xd with a optimax that you are more than welcome to come look at. I am about 10 mins away from the lake. We will even drop it in the water and take it for a spin if you would like. I'm in dayton tn. It takes me 2hrs to get to celina.

Thanks for all the reply’s everyone. My main reason for looking at the 20fter is garage size. I would love to have a 21 footer but I just sold a stratos 200 pro xl with 225 HPDI and I had to put it on wheels jacks and angle it once I got it angled i had about 6 inches to spare. Do you guys have your trolling motors mounted TN style and if so how do you like that?
