Trolling motor mounts

Was wondering could you mount Minn Kota trolling motor in a Motor Guide gator mount or a Motor Guide trolling motor in a Minn Kota mount? Thanks Bobby

To get the Minn Kota out of it's mount or the Motorguide in a Minn Kota Mount you would have to take the head off either one, disconnect the wiring and cables, slide the motor out or in depending on which you are doing and then put the head back together.

Minn Kota's mount to me seems stronger and lasts longer but the motor doesn't remove and replace as easy as the 1 bolt trap door of a Motorguide.
