    Day 2 La Crosse, WI

A lot of the same size fish being caught. Gonna be hard to make a big move up the board. Who can figure out how to get a couple 4# bites each day? BASS Live should be good with all the frog bites.

Yep, Chap Pipkens is in the lead thanks to his 5-8. The next 12 are a pound difference. Culling will be critical.

Dont hold me to it but i think its:
    Limit percentage
    Total keepers
    And 4 plus pounders
Could be wrong on one or more of those

I've been screaming at my screen when Pipkens comes on to throw a Keitech swimbait around those grass mats rigged on a belly weight screwlock hook. Put the frog down! But I'm just a Chair Ranger watching from afar.

Not many fish left there. It happens all the time. They moved and so should he. The strategy that wins on the river is the one that's adaptive.

Yes, more water to come down the mighty muddy miss towards La Crosse. There is a BFL tourney further upstream at Wabasha tomorrow as well that will be dealing with rising waters.

Maybe he is trying for a sponsorship from Duluth Trading and their long tailed plumbers t-shirts, lol.

Nevermind, I just read Jim Maloney's rant on his locked thread and guess the BFL has been cancelled.

Pipkins finally got some bites. It was getting painful. I hope he ends up with a limit.

There is usually more than one in a spot, as he showed, this time of year.

I can't believe I'm now home on Fridays and I always forget these... they archive them somewhere, right - I can replay them?
