I have a 2015 150 four stroke and really like it. I came from a champion 181 with merc xr6 to a river hawk welded aluminum. Bass boat would do 60+\- and the new boat(heavier) does 49 WOT. While the new boat is slower it is much better on fuel and super quiet. Regular maintenance items are very easy to do yourself. From what I've heard they are great on a 18-20 ft bass boat

I've been a Yamaha man for about twenty five years ( I have a 250 SHO on my Skeeter) but bought a Mercury 150 4 stroke last year for my pontoon boat. I have really enjoyed the Mercury so far. It pushes the pontoon (actually a tritoon) very well. Top end is 44 mph. Not bad on the gas. I would have to problem buying another one.

Got a 2017 115 Command Thrust on a pontoon. We've put about a 120 hours on it the past year and a half. Love it... Just routine maintenance which is so simple to do yourself... Dan

44MPH on a pontoon is impressive with just a 150HP

It's actually a tritoon with straits. They are faster than regular pontoons with two tubes.

My Dad has a Tracker boat with a 60HP four-storke and he has run the hell out of it since 2011 and the only problem it has ever had was a fuel pump went out and thats it

I have a 2016 75hp on my Tracker and it's smooth, quiet, and quite the torque monster. Got probably 50 hours on it now and been a joy to own.
