New Stroker owner/ set up

Hey guys i just got a 1999 stroker with a Mariner 300 super mag and a 1.62 sporty. I have owned a couple of boats that would run in the low 90s. What prop would yall recommend for fishing and top end. Any tricks that i should be aware of on these boats?

Can't beat a Bravo for fishing and good speed. A performer 4 for a little more speed. A performer 3 for best speed but holeshot will suck big time.

BC cut for a Stroker, or le Croxton set it for a stroker. Pitch depends on what kind of performance you want. For fishing, I like a 28" or 29" Bravo, or a 26" or 28" performer 4. The lower pitches give better all around performance, the higher ones top speed. You can turn a 30" but for fishing that is too much.

Run the 28 bravo and see how it works for what you want to do then try something else. The Bravo is hard to beat for a all around prop. The promax is another option, I have a stock 28 promax that runs like a 26 worked bravo 1 I used to have.

Lol, ill take some good ones soon. Im working all weekend so monday ill take her out and clean her up and take some good pics. Heck i may even stretch her legs out in the st johns river on Monday.

I just dragged a 2009 w/ 300xs back from Oklahoma a couple of weeks ago

Thanks Kenny, you will have to see this one. It is as close to mint as a 1999 can get. I really lucked out. It came with all its original build documents and receipts all the way down to the owners manual for the trolling motor, jackplate, and the small lowrance. Everything is original except for the jackplate switch was replaced.
What stroker did you get? Do you still have your red one?

You're going to need a 28 or 29 promax. The performer won't last in our fishing world. The are to expensive to ruin with a crab trap. Congratulations!
