    Question garmin maps conpared to lakemaster

    any one that has used both can you give me a comparison pros and cons

    Quite a bit depends on where you are located at. In my area Lakemaster gets the nod as the most accurate. I am located in northeast Ohio. On my home lake there is a small 17' hump in 30+ water. Only Lakemaster shows that hump.

    I almost made this same thread a few days ago... I bought the lakemaster smartstrike for my helix not long ago and was curious how the garmin ultra hd compares, but I bought it anyway from Amazon for 163, got it today but haven't played with it yet. I hope it's worth it for me here in florida

    The lake Vu ultra HD is great if your lake has been mapped. If not it's okay... They are adding lakes each year.

    are you talking about what comes on the echo map plus or do you have to purchase another card

    Lake Vu ultra is an extra purchase. I do not know what maps the echo's comes with. You can check with the link above to see if your lake is a max HD lake.
