My 496 will walk if I let it. Definitely not a trim and go boat. It has a ton of lift though. However, it’s not nearly the handful my dads Tr21. That boat takes some seat time to tame

Just my opinion if a Champion doesn't walk it isn't setup to it's full potential.
My Stratos 210 Elite doesn't walk... But I came out of a Bullet so maybe I subconsciously correct it before it starts... Dan
The charger hull has a pad that is forward (396 excluded) .99 percent won’t walk if the motor is set high enough .I have been 79 in a 496 300 Yamaha that was at 1 inch below 27 vmx Croxton prop that was rock steady it has no hot foot just drive it with one finger.
Have not had time to play with the 210(I do have a job),but will get with Jim Dunn and play with some props and setup once the weather gets out of the 100s.

The problem with dealers is there's hardly any of them that go out for 10 hours and burn 2 tanks of gas and swap out 4-5 custom props. Most just bolt a tempest or fury on and it is what it is.Usally there’s 5-6 mph in a boat that hasn’t been sought after.

The 210's have a lot of lift so you may not need to trim it to the moon to get all the speed. Also try to balance your gear in the boat as best you can. Do you fish solo or with a 250 lb buddy....
Do they make fishing partners under 250?
