My 496 will walk if I let it. Definitely not a trim and go boat. It has a ton of lift though. However, it’s not nearly the handful my dads Tr21. That boat takes some seat time to tame

Just my opinion if a Champion doesn't walk it isn't setup to it's full potential.

My Stratos 210 Elite doesn't walk... But I came out of a Bullet so maybe I subconsciously correct it before it starts... Dan

That is what I gather from most of the Statos and before 210 owners. But it might be a matter of prop selection since the Charger 210 handles differently. Again, wonder who will be the first to try a 4 blade.

The charger hull has a pad that is forward (396 excluded) .99 percent won’t walk if the motor is set high enough .I have been 79 in a 496 300 Yamaha that was at 1 inch below 27 vmx Croxton prop that was rock steady it has no hot foot just drive it with one finger.
Have not had time to play with the 210(I do have a job),but will get with Jim Dunn and play with some props and setup once the weather gets out of the 100s.

I've got a Croxton Razor 4 XL he built for me for when I head to Erie or St. Clair. It runs a few mph slower than my Tempest Plus (also worked by Mark)... That Razor rally carries the hull, it's noticeable... Dan

I was thinking more Fury 4 but we will see. Can’t wait until TOC tries all his 3 and 4 blade props on it.

Please, TOC, do the same to the 198. Will be interesting to hear what each hull's full potential is.

He probably will if someone gets one hear him. Kelly might do some testing on the 198 as soon as the engine get there.

The problem with dealers is there's hardly any of them that go out for 10 hours and burn 2 tanks of gas and swap out 4-5 custom props. Most just bolt a tempest or fury on and it is what it is.Usally there’s 5-6 mph in a boat that hasn’t been sought after.

The 210's have a lot of lift so you may not need to trim it to the moon to get all the speed. Also try to balance your gear in the boat as best you can. Do you fish solo or with a 250 lb buddy....

Someone with a bigger screen tell me what size jackplate that is, please.

What do you mean? Are the Suzuki motors too fat?

Yes sir, they weigh almost 100lbs more than yami & merc. I’d love to see a 225ss too, how’s your motor been so far?
