Hunting before school, guns in my truck at school, being able to carry a knife on an airplane, staying at all all day during the summer when I was 9, driving a car when I was 14 (legal), playing sports without the crazy helicopter mom rules, fist fights and then being friends the next day, etc

Standing up in the middle of the back seat of the car, no seat belts or car seats.
Riding bicycles 8 miles away to Lake Allatoona to go swimming. (wouldn't ride 30 feet on the road now)

Most of the above. I'll add one though. Taking a girl or boy Snipe hunting at night. Having them hold the bag and the rest of us leaving them in the woods in the dark and going to the house for a long spell just to see if they panicked or just how mad they got. Media would stay on this for months.

Playboy poster on a teen boys wall. Jumping the freight train to ride into town. Get my butt whipped by a neighbors dad because I deserved it. Happening again at home because you have to tell them. Meeting a cop at the bumper and talking you way out of a big ticket.

I grew up in the 50's and we used to chase the DDT truck as it sprayed clouds all over the hood. Had the old darts with nail points and stuck one in my buddy's head. Took the pellet gun all around the hood and killed squirrels. In HS we always had guns and camping stuff in my truck. Starting at 6 years old we would leave the house and fish all day with the big kids and come home at dark. Much has changed.

After reading some of these memories, I realized how barbaric we all were back then!

I too ran behind the mosquito spraying truck (DDT truck)... I wonder how many cases of cancer in this country were caused by this activity

In FFA, we sold magazines and if an individual sold enough, you won a 30-30 Winchester rifle.

Males being allowed to be "boys" - In today's world, showing any form of masculinity is frowned upon, sometimes kids will even get in BIG trouble for being too rough or maybe "horsing around" and I just don't get it.

You were lucky, it was almost 3/4 of a mile for me, and I didn't live in the country...................I lived in a neighborhood where the houses were maybe 30' apart.

fighting on the playground. all of us kids, who were friends, would always end up in a fight at some point. Amazing we survived with a few bruises and no cops being called to "arrest" those violent young teens :)
